Twitter has access to millions of inboxes at any given time once a network is built without spam filters, which is probably more than you can say for your email lists. Thus, Twitter is the new way to hit all of your customers, potential customers, and their friends for a little price and a large return.

Twitter makes it easy to send promotional advertisements, product releases, and company memos that you know all your customers will read. Something about the brief instant messages that feel the Twitter news feeds draws people into read everything whether or not people think it is worth their while. Thus, you can rest assured that you will catch many people who might otherwise ignore you for less cost and higher profits than any other service.
